EAD/AP Vs H1B

Gurus, my H1B (paper document -- I don't have a stamped H1B.) is expiring on July 31, 2007. My EAD (based on pending 485) is also expiring in the same week. Should I renew my EAD/AP only and do away with H1B, or do you recommend that I extend my H1B also? If you think I should extend H1B, what is the benefit of doing so when I can continue to work on pending 485-based EAD?

On a different note, my orignial 485/EAD/AP application was sent to Nebraska Center, but was later moved to Texas center. When I apply for extension of my EAD/AP, should I send the application to Nebraska or Texas?

Thanks mcuh!

-------------if any problem with I-485 then you will have H1 status

--------------- if you send it to Nebraska they may transfer it to Texas. if you have got the I-485 transfer notice then attach the copy of transfer notice with EAD /AP applications and can file with Texas.

you can extend H1, it is better to be on H1 status.
if you use EAD you will not be on H1 status
file for EAD and AP
