EAD/AP Renewing Necessary??

485/EAD/AP For ME ND 09/22/2004

485/AP for my wife ND 09/22/2004

Approved EAD/AP for me and Ap for my wife in JAN 2004

My wife works on EAD she was approved for L2 visa so we can maintain L Visa ( nonimmigrant status) until 485 is approved.

Now Current my EAD/AP and my wife AP is base on 485 and expires on feb 1st 2005. Do I really need to apply to renew it as I think I may be approved in few months ( Did FP on 10/30/2004). We have valid L1/L2 status until July 2005. I haven't changed employer since I came here. I guess we are stil on L status even though I applied for EAD/AP earlier for my self.

Do we really need AP/EAD If we are not using it or do not intend to use it..and I hope not renewing would not invalidate our status on adjustment.

You do not require an EAD or AP if you are maintaining your L status. The only suggestion I would make is that you might want to keep an EAD for yourself in case you are laid off and need to find a job quickly for AC21 purposes.
