EAD/AP Renewal

Hi

My wife's ead and ap renewal got approved last week but mine haven't. i am the primary applicant. Same thing happened with a friend of mine. Is this unusual ? Has anybody else had a similar experience ?

Call the INS service center. It is not usual (although nothing is usual with INS). Only if you ask , you will get the answer.
 
In my case it is the other way around. I mailed mine and wife's (EAD renewal) applications at the same time, but in separate envelopes on Jan 9th. Received receipt for both simultaneously a week later, but wife's is EAC-03-078-5XXXX, whereas mine is EAC-03-079-5XXX.
They cashed her check before mine as well.

Now online, mine is showing approved Jan 29th, whereas hers is still application received.... Have'nt received the card yet.

In this case I figured that the 2 mail packages went into different piles, and it has'nt been that long, so I'll give it a few weeks. In our case I'm the only one who needs it so it hers is not that time critical.

Just sharing my scenario where the 2 applications were mailed separately and hoping that is the cause...

Pattern ?

My EAC number is EAC 03-078 5XXXX too. Seems like everyone with a recipt on this day has an issue. Just a guess though a jaxen mentioned, there is no logic involved.
