EAD/AP renewal w/o job

I was on AP/AOS pending while on my last job. My 140 was approved and 485 was pending for over 6 months when I was laid off. That was about a year ago. Now my EAD is expiring (Aug) and I want to renew. Am I still eligible to file for an extension? If not what should I do? Please let me know. Thanks
 
As long as your I-485 is pending, you are eligible to get an EAD or extend it. Read the application - nowhere does it ask for a current job or proof of job. The EAD is a privilege granted to everybody who has a pending I-485, whether they need it or not, whether they are currently employed or not.

(By the way, you cannot be "on AP", the AP is not a status for you to be "on" !!)
 
@s2010, as jk0274 mentioned above, you'll have no problem renewing your AP or your EAD. Just keep in mind that you'll need a valid EAD if you are working or before you can start work.
