EAD & AP renewal at Boston Office

EAD and AP for me and my spouse are expiring in about 3 months. I live in the Boston Metro area and would like to know if anyone has had any experience getting the EAD and AP renewed from the Boston Office recently.

Also I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me how Easy/Difficult it is to fill out forms and send to VSC incase Boston office doesn't do EAD and AP renewals.

My lawyer is asking for an obsene amount of money as legal fees to do the renewals, so I think I should do it myself.

I don't think it is that difficult - you should be able to do it yourself. No point in throwing money if your company is not paying. If you have some time walk in the JFK Federal Bldg. in Boston and ask at information desk.. i unfortunately do not work in Downtown.

I did read that someone got their EAD from boston in one day (after the IBIS check was initiated). Also the published reports on local processing time still show Boston EAD to be one day.

If you are having to send it to INS Vermont, it is helpful if you can find the original page that your EAD Card came attached in (if you know what i mean)

keep us posted what you do.. my EAD is also expiring in 3 months and this time i will have to use it
 
Same case

Please keep me updated as mine aslo same case i.e. EAD & AP expiring in 3 months... If it is possible to get renewed at local INS office i can wait untill one month before the EAD expires.
