EAD/AP Renew Question -485 Transfered to Local office

My 485 case was transfered to local office last month ( I do not know any reason for transfered). Received transfer notice from INS.

My EAD/AP are due to expiration in Jan-2004. I am planning to apply for extension/renew for EAD/AP for self and my spouse.

Below are my questions, I would appreciate your response...

1) Where should I send extension/renewal applications for EAD/AP?
VSC or Local Office.

2) How much time it takes in local office? Compared to VSC processing time is it quicker?

You must apply in local office. Because local office got your file. Most of the centers will be done 3 months time. some times more.
 
Here is the response from my attorney

She say's my application will be sent to VSC.

If anyone has gone thru similar phase, can you please suggest what to do now.

I am planning to contact 800 number to get more information related to EAD extension.
