EAD/AP receive receipts in a lightining speed!

Received on 25th and mailed on 26th. They do want to cash the checks inside those envelops, don't they?

Would you prefer they cashed the checks after 90 days for EADs or after 24+ mnths for 485s (and maybe send you a RFE saying that your check has expired and you have to send them a new check) ?

Ghee at least its good to see that EAD and AP are being processed in time.

A lot of non EB based I485 filers keep on applying for AP / EAD for years together. I recently read in orlando sentinel, that some folks waiting for GCs have been applying for EAD or work permit for 10 years and beyond.

I am sure that these may be cases of illegal aliens, asylum seekers etc, but my point is, that if its OK with the BCIS to let a group of GC applicants be in this process for 10 yeras and beyond, they may also start leaning towards having huge backlogs in the EB baseds I485s.

Lets not be satisfied with getting our EADs / APs processed in time. Sign the I485 backlog reduction petitions / call your congressmen.
