I am going to complete six years in Jan 2009 and I have H1 petition till that time
but my visa on passport was expired long back.
1.My employer advised me to apply for EAD next year as I still have 18 months left.
He asked me to apply for I-485 and AP only?
a) Can I apply for EAD by myself next year if I have I-485 receipt or
do I need to go through attorney?
2. If I have AP, do I still need to get the visa stamping on passport?
3. I am planning to send my wife to India next month.
By that time I would not have received AP so she still needs to go for visa stamping.
If I send her after I get AP, is there any advantage?
