EAD/AP/H1 question --- need your advice

Hi Gurus,

My EAD is about to expire, and the EAD renewal
process seems to have stopped. (what are those INS
people working on these days? I wonder) I do have
an H1B which will be valid for a while. I have used my
AP. Now, my question is whether it is still OK for me to
work after the EAD expires. Can I assume that my H1B
covers me until it expires? Also, is it stilll OK to apply for
H1 renewal although I have had an EAD and used my AP?

First, U need to file a I-9 that changes your employment authorisation from EAD to H1.If the employer agrees, you can tear off the previous I9 and cna maintain h visa

U can apply for H1 renewal, watch out for 6yr expiry , but AP usage does not prevent you from doing the h1 renewal.
