EAD/AP file together

Does anyone know if its Ok to file EAD/AP separately.

My company pays for my EAD/AP, so I am going to let the company attoprney file my EAD/AP.

Since they charge $620 over the filing fee charged by USCIS, I was planning on efiling my wife's on my own.

Anyone see any problem with that? Do they need to be filed together since my wife is a dependent?

I've done this, for the same exact reason.
Filed for my and my wife's EAD's and AP's on the USCIS web site. You need to file I-765's first in this case - otherwise I-131's will be treated as a separate filing.
We've got our AP's in three weeks time, but we're still waiting for EAD's (2 months now). We had to make a separate FP appointments for our EAD's and send extra copies of our drivers licenses and passports (got an RFE for this).
Later on I've e-filed an I-131 for my daugter and got her Ap in approx. five weeks.
Bottom line: no big deal, you can and should do yourself. In fact, if I could ditch my attorneys completely, and file verything myself, I would already have my GC.

Looks like you filed for everyone yourself. I am trying to get the attorney to file for myself and want to do ONLY my wife's myself. I am wondering if there's an issue with that.

Apparently, there is no issue with it since I've filed for my daughter's AP separately and it got approved without any surprizes.
Do not forget to mail the supporting documents for your wife's I-765 and I-131. For the former, you'll need a copy of the first page of your online receipt, a copy of ID (I got an RFE for it) and a copy of her I-797 (I-485 receipt notice). For the latter, you'll need a copy of the first page of your online receipt and two photos.
You'll also need to schedule an FP appointment for her - in addition to one that will be scheduled for her I-485 by USCIS.
