EAD/AP efile

Hi
I am planning to e-file the EAD and AP for both myself and my wife. Can someone please give me a sample cover letter and list of supporting docs for the AP?

Also - everyone says in order to get interim EAD we should file 90 days before - does this mean I should apply 90 days before, or my supporting docs should reach BCIS 90 days before.

Also my 7th year H1b expired on Feb 10th, 2005 and I am working on EAD. Do I select my current status as EAD or H1B. Some people mentioned there is no H1B selection anymore, in that case what did people select.

Thanks again for your help.

90 days from the date they receive your file. Also, need to mention as AOS since you are in AOS status when you start working on EAD with 485 pending.

Efile sucks. You might get your money charged, but left with no receipt number. USCIS website doesnt respond well most of the times especially during e-filing.

Personally, I like eFiling. I've never had a problem and the last EAD I eFiled was approved in 2 business days. (that is not a typo). My wife was approved in 5 business days.

Bear in mind that this was about 3 months ago. Who knows what they're doing today!! ;-)

EAD approval in 2 or 5 business days are not anymore done with INS especially nowadays..

Hi
On the INS site its mentioned that I should be sending the suppporting docs to the Chicago lockbox? Ours is employment based with VSC - where should we sent it too ? This is with regards to efile. Please advise. Thanks !

Efile is easy, fast and efficient. Make sure that your pop up blocker is not on when you efile. This is probably one of the reason people do not get a receipt or are not able to print their forms once they complete the process. In my case, my EAD was approved in just 60 days. During the process they will tell you where to send supporting documents. In my case it was Missouri. The first message on this column gives you detailed and very helpful information regarding efile. Please make sure that you read it before you efile. Good Luck.

I would be filing EAD, AP and 485. Can I efile EAD and AP myself? Do we need a lawyer to do this? What documents are needed? What is the name of the website for efiling?
Thanks
