EAD /AP approved in 10 days VSC

My EAD /AP was filed on June 26th and got approved today the 7 of july.
I hope due to Bi-specialization VSC is not having much of work to do. My 485 is pending with VSC and my EAD/AP application went to them and it got approved so fast.

I have read somewhere in this forum, EAD/AP geting approved soon also indicates that all peripheral work on 485 is complete like name check, security clearance etc and is just waitring for PD to be current.

Don't know how far its true.
 
That's great - congratulations! Believe me you don't want the worry of "will the AP come in time for my trip or not...." :)

i485 (GC) submitted April 12th 2006, LUD June 24th.
i131 (AP) submitted April 12th 2006, approved June 26th 2006. LUD Jul 2nd 2006 - still waiting to receive forms....
i765 (EAD) submitted Apr 12th 2006, approved Jul 3rd 2006, received Jul 5th 2006, LUD Jul 5th 2006.

Same here. Filed on 22nd June . Approved on July 6th. Three months wasted on the current EAD as it expires in October. They should start issuing the start date of the new EAD from the expiration of the current one.
 
I got my 3rd EAD and start date is from the expiration of the second. I didnt loose any months. Even my second EAD was like that.
 
yeah, even I was taken to surprise when i saw approvals so fast. I wish they so agile with respecxt to 485 as well.
Anyways, but I did lose 21/2 months due to this. My ead/ap was expiring in oct.
