EAD/AP application

Can someone please tell me what the new procedure is to file for EAD/AP. I do not want to use the "new" E-filing method but prefer to apply it using regular mail.

I'm sure there has been a lot of changes due to INS -> BCIS conversion such as who the checks should be "payable to" and so forth.

Please confirm if following are the only documents needed for
EAD application:

1. 2 immigration pictures
2. $120 payable to "DHS"
3. I-765
4. copy of 485-receipt notice
5. front/back copies of I-94
6. copies of previous EADs

Please confirm if following are the only documents needed for
AP application:

1. I-131
2. $110 payable to BCIS-TSC (depends on where 485 was filed)

Thanks

Thanks!

KK,

Thanks for the quick reply.

According to http://www.immihelp.com/ (if you click on EAD on the left), which has pretty up todate information all EAD checks should be payable to "DHS" and all AP checks should be payable to "BCIS-TSC".

Not sure if this is the case but this is the most uptodate infor I could find.

The link you sent me suggests checks to be payable to "INS" which is no longer the case...I think.

Please help!

Nipster,

I have searched the archives for any info about EAD renewal but couldn't find any.

From the FAQ that I have pointed out, it is said that the check should be made in favor "INS". Now with BCIS running the show, the check should be made in favor of "BCIS".

I hope somebody will clear the issue tomorrow.
