EAD and Status

I have applied for a family based green card..I am currently on H1 and i have
already gotten my I 130 approved as well as my EAD approved too...If i take up a new job using my EAD, my H1 will not be valid anymore..If in case i happen to lose my job that i got using my EAD..what will my status in the USA be? Can i continue to stay in the US since my I 485 is in process and i have the EAD?

As long as you have your I-485 pending, you can legally stay in the US whether you have an EAD or not, whether you have a job or not.
