EAD and SSN

Hi,

I was on h-1 and my wife was on f-1 and we both had ssn cards. Now we both got our ead cards. do myself and my wife need to get new ssn or old ssn are still valid.
note : my wife is no longer on f-1..her status is immigration pending.

You can go back to SSA and get the valid for work authorization removed once you get your I-485 approval. The number will always be the same. I understood your question.
