Hi i just posted a thread about when i can have the actual EAD card on hand... No one is really replying to me so i figured i would post a new one... Can anyone from NJ or just from anywhere help me with a couple of questions... I apologize in advance for a little re-post but i did not really get any answers i was looking for...

Timeline:
ND for I130-I485-I765=7/17/06
First interview letter recieved= 9/15
Interview date= 11/21/06
EAD approved= 9/25/06
I-130= it say's that reciept is not available...

1) I was approved on 9/25/06 for EAD... When will i get the actual card?
2) Do the processing dates change first or the status case upon aproval?
3) Whats the average wait for a SS# after applying?
4) How come the reciept for the I-130 is not available?

Your EAD is in the mail already. It should arrive within the next few days.

Once you get EAD, you will need to go to the Social Security Office to request a social security number. If your info from the USCIS is in their system they will process you to get your social security number. If not, you will have to wait till the Social Security Office gets info from USCIS. I hope everything is in order on your I485 (no misspellings in your name, etc. because if it is, they will not process you for Social security number but will have to verify everything all over again with USCIS.

The amount of time to receive Social can take up to 2- 10 weeks. (Longer if info from USCIS is not available.

In regard to the I-130, they process the I-131 and I-765 within 90 days in most cases and take more time to process the I-130 and I-485 (just a observance on my part.)

The processing dates appear to be a little behind: (can't really tell) but if you check other persons approval notices, they appear to come out on Tues and Thurs nights.
Hope this helps.

yeah it helps alot (thanks Neshawn) with how i should understand everything...but what about the processing times? how do i use that?

That is based on your ND for your Notice of Action receipts(I-797) not your RD (Received Date) to give you idea which cases are being processed look at the processing for your area.

I think you are meaning the National Benefits Centers. They post dates monthly. Like if you look it says July 3rd right now; however my ND is July 5th and have already received EAD

Is this what you are asking?

Yes... Coz from what i thought, if your notice date shows on there, then that means your EAD should be in the mail by tomorrow or something... I am confused...
