EAD and H1 B & H4

Hi,
My 485 is pending (EB2 NIW) and I am currently on H1 B. I am planning to apply for EAD for dependents. I want to know if there is any effect of dependents using EAD on my H1 B (renewal in future)?

Also I want to know if I just apply for EAD for my wife does it affect H4 status of my children since their information is included H4 application for my wife. In other words should I apply for EAD for children as well?

If this question has already been answered earlier can you please point to that thread.

-------------- you or your wife can apply for EAD AP, if you the primary use EAD then you will invalidate H1 status if the wife use EAD she will not be on H1 status, if only she use the EAD and not you then you are on H1 status, your children will be on H4 status if they dont use EAD and you are on H1 status.
