EAD and AP

First I have to admit that I am stupid enough because I did not file applications for EAD and AP when I submited my 485 in 9/02. Now my situation desperately need me to travel and I also want to change my job (BTW, my wife is the primary applicant).
I checked with our attorney and was told he does not file EAD and AP so I have to do it my self.
Questions:

1. What are the forms and credentials I need to submit?
2. How long it will take to get them approved?
3. When will they expire?

I appreciate if someone can help.
