EAD and AP Renewals

My EAD and AP are going to Expire in December 24th 2002. I need to get those renewed. My PD is JAN 2000 and ND is October 30 2001. No FP. When should I send the appls. Advise guys. By the way, how much time for renwals. is it like applying for new one or faster this time around. My Local INS is crowded it seems and hence I am feeling very very lazy to go there early in the morning. I will send am e-mail to my lawyers also to get feedback from them as well.

From different postings on here and on msn group texasimmigration, I found out people recommended to apply for EAD in 4 months advance prior to the expiration date of an EAD. Is anybody out there can recommend on AP?

AP processing time

has been hovering between 40 - 50 days for the past few months. I would hazard 60 days before expiry...

my AP has been there for 9 months

I think this is a record for something that expires in 1 year, we applied in october 2001 and nothing, nada, but I have been unlucky in several other things in the process, so I got used to it.
