EAD and AP Renewal

Hi Folks:

Just wanted to confirm whether I have all the docs right for my EAD and AP renewal:

- Completed and signed Form I-765 – Application for Employment Authorization
- Completed and signed Form I-131 – Application for Travel Document
- Copy of Form I-797D – Mailer sent with previous EAD card
- Copy of the I-94 – Departure Record
- Copy of Form I-797C – Receipt Notice for Application to Adjust Status to Permanent Resident
- Copy of front and back of the previous EAD card
- 2 (for EAD & AP) x 2 immigration-style photos (3/4 front profile, right side, right ear visible)
- Combined check for $460 ($120 EAD + $110 AP for spouse, and $120 EAD + $110 AP for myself)

Explanation for requesting Advance Parole:
As adjustment of status applicants, my spouse & I request the issuance of the Advance Parole Travel Document to enable us travel to India where our parents live. Due to their old age and failing health we might need to visit India at short notice.

Can I submit a combined check for both as mentioned above?

I have never filed combined. i would say attach 4 separate checks - just to be on the safe side.
 
Also include a copy of your passport (all pages).

I included all this for my EAD (initial) and got approved today.

here is the cover letter that I used:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Enclosed please find the following documents in connection with the above captioned:

• Form I-765;
• $120.00 check, filing fee;
• 2 photos
• Copy of I-485 receipt notice
• Copy of I-94 (both sides)
• Copy of passport
• Copy of HIB visa stamp
• Copy of HIB approval notice
• Copy of I-140 approval notice
• Copy of Social Security Card

Thanks. I don't know what my sun and moon sign is. How can I figure that out? Is that an astrology symbol of some sort? My sign is Libra.
 
I've heard that the EAD is renewed from the previous expiry date and not the date of application, and it makes sense. However, is the same true even for AP? If not, should I send them a copy of my previous AP and ask them to renew it from the expiry of the current one? Experts please respond. Thanks.
