Hi,

I've a wierd scenario.......

Last year my attorney applied EAD, AP and I-485 in Nebreska service center, later they got moved to California and got my EAD and AP approved from California center and then my I-485 got moved to Nebreska.

Today I applied for EAD and AP renewal online and for point # 11, I answered as below.

11. Have you ever applied for employment authorzation from BCIS? Answered "YES".

Which CIS office? - Answered - USCIS California service center.

Dates? Answered - 09/26/2007.

As my EAD got approved from California, I answered it as California. When I read the instructions doc from USCIS site, it says applicants from Georgia has to send the documents Texas, As I applied it online and mentioned Calif, it asked me to send the documents to California service center.

Does anyone think this would be a problem??? or anyone has faced similar situation.

Any help on this is really appreciated.

Thanks,
Ram.

Submitting application to wrong center by itself will not lead to application denial if every thing else is OK. The USCIS will direct it to the right place which may cause some delay (few days) and that is it.
