EAD and AP link

hello,

my ead and ap expires in june

so my wife, who is on h1 which expires in july, will be going overseas and plan to use AP and come by the end of May and then renew her H1

I, who am on EAD , plan to renew EAD in Apr.

Now my question is:

1. is there any link b/w ead and AP because my wife will be travelling in may and i will be renewing my AP

2. Also, can i request for new APs also while current AP is being used by my wife

3. I know there is no specific rule, but can anyone shed some light if H1 can be renewed if entered into US using AP

Your wife is travelling. You are renewing your AP. What's the problem?
