EAD and AP filings

I am preparing documents to file I-485. Can I file myself the EAD and AP applications?

I know I will have to wait for the I-485 receipts if EAD/AP not filed together with I-485. How much a delay will that cause?
------------At this time many I-485 are being transferred from one service center to other service center and can be delay. Normally it takes 12—15 days for the receipt from the date it reaches USCIS.

I have another question. How important is the accuracy of a parent's birth date on the I-485 form?
I have all the required information filled up except my in-law's birth date. For complicated reasons, I do not think I would get my spouse to coorperate to get the information. Thanks.

Then don't use those forms, they're probably outdated. As pointed out by ginnu, the latest form, available from uscis website does not ask for parent's birth date.

I have noted that in last 5-6 years I-485 form did not ask for Parents DOB. I dont know if your lawyer created his form. post the blank form from your lawyer and let us know where he is going to write parents DOB. **even the form G325 (that is sent with form I-485)does NOT ask parents DOB it only ask name of father and mother.

I think biographic information form G325 asks the dob of parents..I dont think if anyone do not fill will cause problem.

Form G325 only asks parents name and
Date, City, country of birth (IF KNOWN)
