EAD and Aos question..

hi guys,
i was going thur i 485 form it says on part II , list the present name of wife/husband , kids. and their Alien #, dob etc, do i have to put my wife's(USC) name there? even she is not applyin for Aos? also, i have a step son , should i list his name too???
more question:
whats my non immigrant visa #? where can i find it?on passport? please somone tell me thanks

You dont have to write the name of your wife as she is already a USC and she is not immigrating with you.

Non-immigrant visa number can be found on the visa page (the visa you used to enter US) in your passport. If the visa is H1, the number is in red.

thanks for reply. i am on f1 visa so the non immigrant visa would be on passport where the visa was stamped? do u have any idea how many digits does it contain?? i saww one looooong # i am not sure if thats that one. thanks

Yes, but not part 2, it’s in a part 3 of I-485 they ask you to list your wife and children.
If you are married – you have to write her name and DOB in there, even if she is not immigrating with you. If your stepson lives with you – put his name there too.
And then check the correct box under “Applying with you?” for both of them to "No".

I am not sure about that.
I included my wife's name (who is USC).But I checked the box Applying with you? to No.
