EAD and Adv Parole renewal documents

Hi !!

I need some advice from people who have renewed their EADs and Adv. Paroles recently.

My lawyer filed the initial ones at the time of filing 485. But she had I should do the renewals myself and gave some instructions back then, 9 months ago.

Here is my question, she mentioned that I need two photographs for Adv Parole. But she didn’t mention anything about the photographs for EAD.
Do I need photographs only for Adv. Parole, not EAD?

Also she has given an elaborate list of docs to be attached, like copy of all approved 729, copy of passport, etc. Are they needed or she just wants to be safe..

Please let me know your experiences.

I sent the following docs when I applied for renewal:

Checklist for AP:
1. Check for $110 (Submit new fee)
2. 3 Photos with I485 receipt number and A# written in back
3. I131 duly filled
4. Current Advance Parole
5. I-140 Approval Copy
6. I-485 Receipt notice copy
7. Passport copy
8. I-94 Copy
9. Company Experience
10. Recent Paystubs
11. Copy of Drivers License
12. Copy of Birth Certificate
13. Marriage Certificate
14- H-1 Extension Receipt Notice
15- Cover Letter


Checklist for EAD renewal:
1. Check for $120 (Submit new fee)
2. 2 Photos with I485 receipt number and A# written in back
3. I765 duly filled
4. Top Portion of Original EAD Mailer
5. Current EAD Card (Front & back)
6. Copy of Drivers License
7. I-140 Approval Copy
8. I-485 Receipt notice copy
9. Copy of Passport
10. Copy I-94
11. Experience Letter
12. Recent Pay stubs
13. Marriage Certificate
14. H1 Extension Receipt Notice

I applied my renewal on Apr 19th 2004 and got approvals in June last week.

I have one more dumb question.

I was filling up 131 and in part 3, there is a place for intended departure and expected lenghth of trip..

My current adv. parole expires on Oct 14th. Should I say my intended travel is Oct 20th and length as 4 weeks??
