EAD/485 AP applied from VSC - can i work in Chicago ?

I will be traveling out of country this week on AP (H1 expired). my company filed for I485 at vermont and is located in VA. I am working temp for its client in IL ..
Will there be a problem landing at Chicago point of entry ?

ap allows u to enter us from any port of entry.
