I got my EAC# yesterday (May 3), should I be optimistic or not? also any ideas how long it takes before I get a decision?

WHEN DID U APPLY?
WAS IT TRANSFER OF H1 (PREMIUM OR NORMAL)

abosolutely good news.you can check your status on uscis.gov by entering that number.
It may take more than 3 months to get approval.
Would you mind telling us when you send the material? I sent mine on 4/4, but have not received the receipt notice yet. I am very worried now.
