Looks like, BCIS started JAN'02 cases. today RFE were sent 2 cases.

EAC-02-086-500043
EAC-02-086-500072

Hope this will give a boost to Jan filers

Thanks

let's hope so

Let's hope so. I found two approvals myself (EAC-02-110-507xx and EAC-02-110-508xx) on June 4 when I ran the script. My RD is Jan too - EAC-02-110-51xxx. However, when I spoke to an IIO yesterday and she told me that mine would take two months (your RD is Jan 30, we are currently doing Dec...blah..blah...).

Usually, I have noticed, that next month doesn't start till the current month reaches 40% on Rupnet.

EAC-02-110-507xx and EAC-02-110-508xx

EAC should be 13 character long

Check 86 series again. YOu posted 14 character numbers.

RD JAN 1 2002

ND JAN 14 2002

it doesn't mean Jan has started...

jan 02 ND still means that their RD were in Dec. These are Dec cases.

EAC02086 - JAN RD

Thats not correct. The RD for EAC-02-086 series are Jan 02, 2002 and ND is Jan 15, 2002.

EAC-02-086-50***
RD : JAN 02,2002
ND : JAN 15,2002
FP : MAY 16, 2002

Hi,

One of my friend (I don't know his EAC) got his approval. His RD is some time in Jan 1st week. So, I am sure that VSC started January 2001 cases.

Well, they could still be late Dec. RD cases. The fact that your RD is Jan 02 doesn't guranteed every 086 case has Jan RD...

I'm not going to explain the whole thing, but EAC numbers are not dependent on RD - only on NDs - so people who have the same starting EAC numbers will have the same ND not RD.

All I was saying was that its possible that those approvals might have Dec RDs, and hence were processed right now.

It might also be true that Jan has started - we have no concrete proof of anyone being approved on this board though...

I have noticed that same EAC number (3 digit part) can have different RD and different ND. It is linked to some day in between
RD and ND. It might be the day your application got the receipt number. It's definitely not the day your check is cleared (based on my own case).
Coming to January RD approvals, we have not seen a single posting in this forum by any one who said that his RD is January and he hot aproved. We saw couple of third party information which i would not like to buy.
I myself ran the script today for eac-02-110-507 series (RD of February) and noticed 3 approvals (EAC0211050747,EAC0211050757,EAC0211050774). If you ask me how do i know that they have February RD, then check this
one : EAC0211050741

I fail to understand whey these cases are approved so fast. May be age out cases.

samjoy, I understand your point, but my EAC is 0211051xxx and my RD is 30th Jan (ND 13th Feb). It wouldn't inaccurate to assume that majority of 02110 cases are for Jan. My script shows a total of 8 approavals of which two were done on Jun 4. The low numbers could indicate that they are age out cases.

Thanks Samjoy. It finally answers a much debated question. The date (check is taken, not the check cleared date) usually falls 3 to 4 days before the ND. That's why in some cases, we see people with same ND having different EAC numbers. Otherwise, in most of the cases, the people with same ND will have same 3 digit number in their EAC number.

FYI, I have a EAC 02-086-05xxx, my RD is Dec.'01, not Jan. My ND is Jan.'02.

So this EAC serie is not just for Jan. RD...

Boston485 is correct.
If you look at Rupnet's data.. cases with RD of Dec 26, 2001 and beyond got EAC 08x.
So it's very likely that the two cases mentioned in the beginning of this thread have late Dec 2001 RDs.
