Last evening I ran the script for EAC-02-063-50001 to EAC-063-50990 (990 Cases). I believe these are December RDs - maybe Decemebr 1st.

Here is the stats -

Total Cases: 351 (That's 35% - huge number of 485 cases!)
Approved : 22
RFE : 2
Transferred : 39
Resumed/FP Received : 241
Received: 47

I think this's very promising. Atleast some Dec cases are looked at! Let's keep our fingers crossed!

DEC RD ???

EAC-02-063 (Dec RD?) Statistics - 22 Approved

How can you make out EAC-02-063 is actually for (Dec RD)
Especially 063 , what is the logic behind this ?????

Please let me know ??

I checked in Rupnet

Sort it by RD and the EAC # of the first few RDs (including Dec 01) was EAC-02-063

EAC-02-063-xxxxx

They are all December ND. That's for sure. Most of them could be Nov RD.

Mine is EAC-02-061-52xxx having RD is 11/23/2003 & ND 12/12/2003.

Re:

My RD is 12/5/01, and ND is 12/14/01
and my EAC# is 02-063-5xxxx

I think nothing quite wrong in Vidongre's point here.

mine is eac-02-063

mine is eac-02-063 and it is December.
RD 12/05/2001
ND 12/14/2001
Thanks for the incouraging statistics.
Could you, please, run eac-02-06354***
some time. :)

I guess INS is moving fast now

All there are Dec14th ND... don't know the range for RD in these cases. I guess it is probably November RDs with late NDs...

I am just thinking positive and left it to HIM to handle it.

Guys,
The "063" is actually the number of days from 'Oct 1' (when BCIS starts a fiscal year ).
The "063" represents the computer workday in the fiscal year on which the fee was taken.
and the 50001 represents the particular case number

So the "063" in your EAC is actually the number of days from Nov 1 your fees were accepted

63 actually maps to 'Dec 3 2001'. that means applications whose fees were received by Dec 3 2001' could be applications filed /received in Oct/Nov

WRONG - 063 does not map to Dec 03, 2001.

063 is likely ND Dec 14, 2001. The RD could be anytime before Dec 14, 2001.

Wrong :

AS per the BCIS website,

http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/fieldoffices/scnational/index.htm#D

Your Receipt:
After filing your application and paying your fees, you will receive a receipt number. These receipt numbers are very important. Please use these numbers whenever you write to us about your case, and whenever you contact us to find out about the status of your case.

The numbering system used on receipts has significance.

For most applications filed at a Service Center, your receipt may look like this: LIN 99 001 50001. In this example, the LIN represents the Nebraska Service Center, where the application was initially received into the electronic system. Cases that are filed at or received by another Service Center but processed at the NSC will generally carry the designation of the originating Service Center:

LIN = Lincoln, Nebraska or NSC
EAC = St. Albans, Vermont or VSC
SRC= Dallas, Texas or TSC
WAC= Laguna Niguel, California or CSC

In the example above:

The 99 represents the fiscal year (October 1, through September 30) in which the case was received.

The 001 represents the computer workday in the fiscal year on which the fee was taken.

The 50001 represents the particular case number

I think "Computer Workday" means Monday to Saturday except holidays.

Anyway, it does not matter what is our EAC # (to a extent). We have to wait and wait and wait until it's approved.

So Good Luck to all of us and enjoy your weekend. :)

It looks like 063 is associated with number of working days from
Oct'1 to the Notice date. I suggest that we all start sharing more digits out of our EAC numbers .

RD 10/25/2002
ND 11/11/2002
EAC-03-028-51***

here is the math

Days in October 2001= 26 (exlcude Sundays & holdays)
Days in November 2001= 24 (exlcude Sundays & Holidays)
Days in December 2001= 25 (exlcude Sundays & Holidays)
Days in January 2002= 25 (exclude Sundays & Holidays)
Days in February 2002= 23 (exclude Sundays
& Holidays)
Days in December until 14th = 12
Days in March until 04 = 3

Total days for 12/14/01 ND =
26+24+12 = 64

Total days for 03/04/02 ND = 26+24+25+25+23+3 = 126

My EAC# is EAC-02-124-5XXXX

I must have missed one or two holidays here and there. But it seems ND is closer the number,

While running the script how do we know if its Employment Based or Family Based

Is there any way to find out??? Does both have same processing times??

hi vidongre,

Will you pl. run the script for EAC-02-063-5xxxx one more time. so that we can know the speed of processing.
