Not the IIO. The software specs have not defined a category called Adjustee, with no other valid status!

Yes, I called to NCSC to make an appointment.
She will go to the ASC next week.

I have not received a notice yet,
and I have not mailed supported documents yet.
$120 had been already paid from my bank account.

I received Form I-797C Notice of Action yesterday (6/4/2003).
Received Date: May 30, 2003
Notice Date: May 30, 2003

I submitted it at 10pm PDT on 5/29/2003,
and the BCIS Case Status Online says:
Your I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION was received on May 29, 2003. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 120 and 140 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.

I went to the ASC with my wife yesterday (6/11/2003).
It took just 5 minutes to take a photo, fingerprint, and signature.
Everything seemed to be stored into a computer in digital format.

Also, I sent the supporting documents to the CSC by USPS certified mail on the day before yesterday (6/10/2003).

So, now just waiting until approval or iEAD.
Again, her case number is WAC-03-800-00XXX.

Supporting documents

I have e-filed for renewal of mine and my wife's EAD. Could you please tell me what supporting documents do we need to send?
Also when you visit ASC do we need to provide them any specific documents other than the receipt #?

I sent the followings:
1) the first page of PDF file
2) copy of I485 reciept
3) copy of EAD card (front and back)
4) copy of I-94 copy (front and back)
5) copy of I-797D
6) copy of I-140 approval

2) the third page of PDF file

EAD renewal and AP

Hi

I have applied my EAD-renewal and AP recently:

EAD information:

RD - 05/19/2003
ND - 05/20/2003

AP information:

RD - 05/19/2003
ND - 05/20/2003

I have booked mine and my family tickets to India for July 2nd 2003. If I get my AP before July 2nd I will go on that date otherwise I will postpone it. Buy my wife needs to go due to family reasons.

Myself and My Wife EAD are expiring on 08/04/2003.

I am planning to get my iEAD if mine is not get approved within 90 days. I wanted to know, this 90 days limit includes the holidays or only working days. And my second question is Can I go and collect iEAD for my wife, as she will be in India during that period. She is planning to come back in the second week of September.

2nd Question is If I have an emergency to go to India, will they issue me an EAD before 90 days. Let us say I had to go to India during 1st week of August, only by 18th of August 90 days is getting completed, In case of an emergency Can I go to the local service center (in my case it is San Francisco) and collect my iEAD as I need to enter into this country because I am going to use my AP to enter into the country.

I am totally confused ... Please advise me.

EAD renewal Question

Hi

I have one more question regarding EAD renewal.

This time when I have applied for EAD renewal I did the paper work myself. My lawyer was asking me $900 for EAD (for myself, my wife) and Advance Parole for myself, my wife, my two kids.

Just to avoid that expense I have applied my self. I assume that my lawyer might have got hurt because of that. If any RFE comes will it be posted in the "Case Status" page, or I need to wait for my lawyer's call on this.

Please advise.

Didn't you recieve Form I-797C Notice of Action. Pls advice.

Sorry Kashmir, But I still need to know what is doc I-797D that you sent with other docs to BCIS for EAD renewal/filing. can you please let me know what is I-767D form that we need to send.?
 
Form I-797D is leaflet that came with the EAD card which contains your name and A-number.

Hi, ngadhia ,
This is my wife's EAD *RENEWAL*,
so I sent I-797D copy of the previous one as Tasse mentioned.
I think I-797D is not MUST, but I'm not sure.

Are you applying your first EAD or renewal ?
If it's your first EAD application, you don't have I-797D.

Today confirmed our Appointment at ASC.

Also I am mailing following docs to address mentioned in confirmation receipt

1. I-94 front and back.
2. A copy of I-765 confrimation Receipt.
3. A front and back copy of EAD
4. Previous (old) EAD Notice of Action.
5. Previous (old) EAD application I765.
6. copy of I140 approval.
7. Copy of I-485 Reciept.

About I-767 D (the leaflet), I am not sure I still have it.

e-filing

The BCIS system is very fragile and hence needs to be handled with care. The system did not take the appication when we did not fill in the last box on person preparing the form. But when we did fill in the last box, it processed everything and gave a confirmation notice.
