I read in this forum that if one overstays their visa they will be banned from entering the US; if you overstay for more than 2 years, they place a 10-year ban on re-entry. I was wondering if this would still apply to Canadians who overstay, because there are less restrictions on Canadians entering the US in general.
I ask because I entered the US on an E-2 (my parents are E-1), but I could not get my visa renewed after I turned 21. I continue to stay in the US, however, because I am finishing up with my BA.
I plan on going back to Canada for grad school, but I was wondering if I would be able to re-enter the US (whether by land or air, but preferably by air) to visit my family.
Thank you.
