I entered wrongly date of birth during initial application for my spouse. Can I submit correct one with Ds 260. Am worried.

Is your wife the applicant or you? They get suspicious that cheating was involved when birthdates are wrong.

Since it's your wife it's less of an issue. Their main concern is that you entered the lottery many times changing your birthdate each time. I don't know the correct procedure but if it was me I'd correct it in the DS-260 and make sure to bring it up at the interview with a good explanation of why you made a mistake.

AF62XXX is good enough. Interview in August next year.

Yes, the OP should go ahead and put the correct date on the DS-260 form, the incorrect date entered on the eDV application for the spouse shouldn't make much of a difference since she's not even the main applicant to start with.

However, bringing up the issue without being prompted during the interview is not a good idea. The general rule of thumb regarding immigration interview is don't volunteer unsolicited information, it often ends up backfiring. Less is more! Only explain the error if asked about it.
