DV2014 Lottery Selectee! Any insight on potential interview date would be most appreciative!

Hi all,

My CN is 2014OC000004XX and I'm assuming that this number is quite low and I have a high chance of getting an interview. I will have my forms prepared and sent in the next few days and as I'm currently in the States, I'm sure they'll arrive in Kentucky in no time.

Does anyone have any idea when I might be receiving my interview date? I'm an Australian citizen who will be in Vietnam from June-November so I'm wondering if I should nominate the US Embassy in Vietnam or the one in Australia as my interview location.

I'd be grateful for any advice in this matter.

Yes, OC00004xx is quite low and going by past Visa Bulletins, 4xx gets interviewed between October and December. If Australia is your main base, I suggest you select Australia as your interview location. If your number gets scheduled while you're in Vietnam, you can always contact the embassy and reschedule for when you will be back in the country.
