DV2012 Selected for further processing - pregnancy/new baby question!

Hi there
My husband (German) has been selected for further processing. We have been prompt with filling in the paperwork (it will be sent back by registered mail on Monday) and so hope to be called for an interview sometime after October 2011. I am currently 7 months pregnant, so if we are called for interview the baby will be born by then. I have found advice not to list unborn babies on the children section of the form so we haven't, but obviously when the baby is born we should tell the processing centre about she/he, fill in a form, do photo etc. Would it be best to wait until we have been offered an interview date? Am worried this might be seen as a complication and would put us to the bottom of the list for interview and visa issuance! But might they cancel our interview if we contact them about this? Presumably we would not get approved if we turned up to the interview with the baby and the paperwork without having told them first. Does anyone know if this will be a problem?
 
It should not be a problem. Babies are being born all the time, it should not affect your chances in any way as long as you notify them regarding the change after the baby is born. There is a form that you will need to fill in after the birth and send back to them. The best case to find out regarding the procedure is either to call them or email them. There are plenty of people who had a new addition to the family and had no problems with it. Good Luck with the baby and the GC.

I've printed out the Notification Letter and the DPS-122/DS-230 forms to be filled and mailed to KCC
When and how can I get the BARCODE SHEET?
Will KCC mail the Barcode Sheet and the self-adhesive return address to 2012 winners?
Should I wait for any mail from KCC before submitting my forms?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
 
ha ha. i know as much as you do, but....did you print your letter? it you did the bar-code was on the second page.
KCC will not email or mail anything to you at this point. you should fill in the forms, add 2 pictures for each family member if you have any (form 122 is only for the main applicant and form 230 for each family member) and send it to KCC along with the bar-code page. if you do not have the bar code (which is weird if you printed out your letter), then wait until their website is operating again and print it (it is down right now and no one knows when it will be back.)

by the way, it is very advised to write name and case # on every photo.

you do not need a bar-code at all at this point. Just send your 122 and 230 forms with the case number and photos (if you are doing AOS, no need in form 230)
I asked KCC regarding the bar code and they said it is desirable but not an absolute must. So you can send even if you don't have it.
