DV2009 CP change to AOS

Hi,

I have DV2009 winner under AS23xxx ~ I submitted 1st winner application
as CP, but I am thinking would it be possible to change to AOS when I receive the 2nd notice?

I live in the US and holding F1 visa with valid status. I am thinking if I receive the 2nd notice sometime next year.

Would it be possible to change this procedure once I have the 2nd notice?
anyone have any comments?

Yes, you can do that. We did exactly the same thing and just mailed a new DSP-122 to KCC adjusted to show AOS rather than CP.

I just emailed KCC stating that we wish to change to AOS rather than CP. They replies within 24 hours saying they had updated our file based on this. Within a few days I received a new DSP-122 in the mail that I filled in (requesting AOS) and posted back.

I'm not sure you will need to email - you can probabyl just fill in a new DSP-122 and mail it to them with a covering letter explaining the change of plan.

ur number is pretty high for aos, just keep that in mind
 
Yea, I know my number is high, that's why i went to CP at first mind. **** However, has anyone done "changing" CP to AOS after got the 2nd letter? *
