DV2008 winner frm Bangladesh(URGENT QRY)

Hi,
Plz help me with my questions, I hv recieved my NL on 10th MAY,2007, I am a PHYSICIAN. case no. 2008AS00012xxx.
1. Does " CONGRATULATIONS" in NL means anything special?
2. Can I staple our PHOTO in the FORMS?
3.What should I write in work experience point as a PHYSICIAN- I am working in Gynae deprt.
4. Can I send it by DHL or FEDEX?
5. My husbands birth place is KUSHTIA, how can he get Birth Certificate? Will a notary public be sufficient? Or he has to collect one frm Kushtia?
6. How POLICE and Court certificate can be obtained in Bangladesh?

Plz any Bangladeshi doctor already got DV or any body who knows the answer reply quickly.

Congratulations. Here your preparatios is starting now to get successfull visa.
I am trying to answer your questions

1. Nothing special. They always saying that who ever win and got First NL .
2. You can staple but better use Jams Clip to attach your photos with Letter. Make sure you follow correct procuder when you taking your photos
3. This very important. You know you can qualify for DV you are just HSC passed but as i know you are Doctor. So dont worry. If you point out your work experiance you should collect exeperiance certificate from your Department.
4. It would be best and secured if you send your documents by DHL/Fedxed rather than Postoffice.
5. If your husbands passport saying his birth place in Kushtia , he should collect one from Kushtia to avoid delay on your DV case
6.Police certificate can be obtain from your current police office and it covers everything. If you were living outside Bangladesh for more than 6 months you got to collect Police Certificate from that country.

and finally i am not doctor but i believe it will hepls you a lot.

Hi sohana

I dont have any idea about Court and prison records. If you were been in prison then you do need this documents .Probably u will get information from Local Police Office.

You need to show them your orginal certificates no matter Bengali or english. remember dont laminate your documents. and if you want to translate your documents you can do it with the help of notary.

marriages certificate can be notary from court or organisation. you will find so many organasiation in Dhaka.

I think Sabala is right. But dont worry ; make all documents right. siily mistake should be avoided.

You will be called for the interview but the last month September. just get ready mentally and do as par instructions.

Thank you Mr. Ferdous, But I am confused about the LIST in the NL package where in sl. no 7or 8 it is mentioned" TRANSLATIONS". Plz can any body specify one example of it.

Hi, sohana. If any of the documents such as marriage certificate, birth certificate and graduation certiricate, are written in the language other than English, they must be accompanied by certified English translations. You just need to prepare them by interview date.
