My husband was selected for the DV2006. His number is EU000093XX. We opted for AOS instead of CP since we’ve been living in the US for almost seven years.
We read practically all DV lottery messages posted in this forum but we still have a few doubts. If anyone knows the answer, please advise.
1. Usually, how long does it take to receive the medical exam results? And for how long are they valid? When should we do it? September? Or should we wait until our number becomes current?
2. On step 4 of the instructions we received from the KCC, there is a list of documents that must be brought with you for the consular interview. Since we chose AOS, do we still need to take those same documents to our interview here in the BCIS or some are not necessary (for example: police certificates, deportation papers, court and prison records, military records)? I’m not sure but it seems to me that those documents are required only if you opted for CP. Am I right about that?
Thank you very much in advance.
