I am DV2006, AS4xxx. I am currently in the US with a H1B visa.
I decided to do CP. The think is that my H1B visa is going to expire in January.
I will apply for extension soon. The problem is that the regular extension process takes 4-6 months. From what its looks now my number will be current only on February.
So in that case when I will attend the interview I will be on extension status, I don’t know if it will be sufficient proof that I am in status or it can cause to problems? Other option is to file for extension with a premium process (about 3 weeks). When I decided to go for CP, I thought that my number will be current in October or November. Now I am a littlie bit confused. Should I stay with the CP and apply for the extension with the premium process? Or should I switch the all process to AOS?
