DV winner applying for F1 or VWP?????

I won the visa lottery 2007 and probably have the interview in October or November, if everything goes well, I have to come to US in September so I was planning to apply for F-2 with my husband that is already studing, now I know that the visa could be denied due to the Visa Lottery and my intention. What should I do?
Could I enter for 3 months using the VWP I´m from Spain?

Please help because I don´t want to be in trouble.

You can use VWP as long as you have intent to go back after 90 days, but officer at POE has full discretion. Usually, they do not ask about immigration visa when one enters the US under VWP, but not guaranteed.
