my interview in january 6 and the medical appointment 19th december..

Do you think its too long or i still need to try for 2 weeks from my interview date?
 
The medical exam could be valid for 3 months, 6 months or 1 year depending on a number of factors:

Immigrant and Refugee Health - Centers For Disease Control and Prevention

How long is the overseas medical examination of aliens valid?

For applicants examined in countries using the 1991 TB Technical Instructions, the medical exam is valid for:

•1 year if the applicant does not have a Class A condition or a Class B tuberculosis (TB) condition;

•or 6 months if any of these conditions exist.

For applicants examined in countries using the 2007 TB Technical Instructions (now referred to as the Culture and Directly Observed Therapy [DOT] Technical Instructions), the medical exam is valid for:

•6 months if the applicant does not have a Class A TB, Class B1 TB, or HIV condition;

•or 3 months if any of these conditions exist.

Thanks sm1smom, that explains a lot - as ours are supposedly valid for 6 months, yet everyone gets a visa for 6 months from date of issue (which in our case was nearly 2 months after the medical).

But that equates to giving inaccurate information. We shouldn't be responding to people based on wanting "to make them feel comfortable". Those asking questions are putting so much into whatever information we provide here.

My answer was certainly inaccurate but it wasn't wrong regarding his question about him attending the interview within 2 weeks time + - . With his medicals exams.
''Make him comfortable'' didn't mean please him in the wrong way.
I meant taking any doubts from his mind about his concern.
thanks for ur remark I shall use proper sentence in the futur.
