DV winner 2007 can participate in dv2008?

Hi everybody.
I am SA000015xx winner, and I expect to be called for interview may/june/july 2007.
In the meantime, is there any problem if I apply for dv2008, given that I am already winner of 2007? would this disqualyfy me for DV- 2008 or interfere in my current visa application for DV 2007?

No problem.There is no connection between DV 2007 and DV 2008.
I am DV2007 winner and i already applied for DV 2008.

Hola, de que pais eres? Yo soy de Peru y mi esposa se gano la DV2007, no nos ha llegado el 2do sobre pero nos han dicho por telefono y por email q nuestra entrevista es el 30NOV......pero hasta q no vea el sobre es una incertidumbre todo esto....

maybee they have high case numbers and they are afraid they won't be called for an interview until oct1 2007.
 
Thanks for yr help. I applied dv2008 today.
To my peruvian friend, if I were u, I would call again KCC to check about the delivery status;if the aanswer be not satisfactory, I would contact the US embassy in Peru straightforward. Rememer that some documents may take long to be obtained.

First of all, my apologizes for writting in spanish. It was not my intention since I read Carlos was from SA, my spanish came naturally.
Thank you Carlos, we will try to call our embassy asap and good luck with DV-2008. Unfortunatelly Peru was not elected to participate this year.

If you expect reply and suggestion from everybody you should type your question in english.

Unlike another member, I am not going to call you "fool" just for writing in spanish. It is your choice and write to write in whatever language you want. But also by writing in spanish you limited response to your question only to people who can read spanish and understand your question.

I had the same question a month ago. I asked the KCC by sending an email to them. They told me that there is no problem for DV-2007 winners to submit an application for DV-2008.
