Dear Friends

Would you please let me know what is DV regional lottery rank numbers? I have seen this expression in Visa Bulletin and it was mentioned that DV regional lottery rank numbers BELOW specified cut-off numbers for each month will be current for interview. For example in following list cut-off number for ASIA is 8250, what does it mean? is cut-off number the same as the CASE NUMBER?

ASIA 8,250
EUROPE 12,400
NORTH AMERICA (BAHAMAS) 3
OCEANIA 675
SOUTH AMERICA, and the CARIBBEAN 725

Thanks,

Thanks,

the cut off number gives you the idea, if your case number is current for consideration(interview) or not. take asia for example, it means all dv winners from asia whose case numbers are below or equal to 8,250 are current and as such scheduled for interview. those with case numbers higher than 8,250 must wait for the subsequent visa bulletin

Any one from the region mentioned with a case number that is the same as the number published or a number lower than the number published in the visa bulletin, will be current at that time and can sent their papers to do AOS or can expect a biometric date & interview date.
