DV procedures questions

Hello a couple of question that I need help with:

1-What happens for a DV3 , a child of a DV lottery winner family, who got married after the initial registration on October 2019 and before the announcement of results on June 2020. Does this child still be included in the case, is she supposed to attend the interview, or she will be excluded due to being married.

2- Whereas the validity of the passport that a dvlottery winner will be using to attend the DV-interview at a US embassy must be at least 6 month valid beyond the intended date of entring the US after the visa issuance, as stated in the Travel.state website, now, if the passport of a winner will be expired before these 6 month, he/she shall get a new passport issued and attend the interview with both passports the old one that was used for initial registeration and in the DS260 and the new long valid one, and let KCC know about the new passport and the reason of renewal, are this procedures correct and sufficient or shall He/She do any other procedure?

1. The child is no longer eligible to benefit from the selection as a derivative.

2. If the CN is higher and not yet scheduled for an interview, the person should unlock their DS260 and update the passport information. They will need to send copies of both the old and the new passports with their documents submission to the KCC.

Thank you so much.

For number (2), yes the CN is AF16XXX , I think he has time to modify the info in the DS260.

Thanks once more, I appreciate it.

Hello again,
a follow up for question 1.
Shall we send the marriage certificate of the child, who got married, to Kccdvdocuments as one of the further required documents?
thanks

They don’t need it. Just tell them she is no longer a derivative on your case and ask them to remove her. You don’t need any “proof“ for why someone can’t or won’t immigrate.
