dear, i am writing to you to request a clearance about my doubt, i have been selected for the futher processing of dv program 2014 and i sent all the documents to kcc but i still dont get a confirmation that they have received my documents and i got only a signed that from DHL that my documents have been delivered to Mr T.Camball. i wrote to them and i did not receive a favorable response still now. i don't know how to do now because my case number is near to get appointment for interview and i have doubt about it. if this happen frequently or its only for me.
 
They don't normally acknowledge receipt of the documents, T Campbell is indeed the one that most people have.

I'm not sure what you mean by "near to interview". Do you have an interview scheduled in the near future, or do you expect your case number to get current soon?

What is your case number ?
 
thanks dear i know about case number and the month i will be notified but my concern is since i sent the documents( forms) to kcc, i did not receive any confirmation from kcc that my documents have been received... what will i do?

Oh okay :)

For you to know kcc will never tell that they recieved you application they just dont, now since you know (cambel) recieved it dont you ever worry. Wou will be current may months you will recieve you 2nl after 2 weeks time ;)

thanks a lot for your precision. i would like to know as i will be current on may month, in which month i will recieve my 2nl april??? and where to my email or through the embassy. * please explain me more about 2nl i dont much. thanks

When you go current on may month, you will recieve your 2nl in this month! March.
They will send you a generic email from kcc to check your status.
Use your confirmation number to check out.
On your 2nl you will see all the instructions ......

thanks a lot for helping me to understand and make clear all my doubt. my last concern is i am congolese from Democratic Republic of Congo and studying in India where i have chosen to forward all the steps until get my visa, which document i need to provide to the embassy the day of my interview? i am in india since one year ago.
 
You will need police clearance from both Congo and India.
There was a case from Australia in this forum. That person was put on AP for a few months until he could get police cert. from Japan, because he lived there for 11 months in the past.
I have the same worries about conformation of received documents from KCC. I thought it may be because of my high case number: 2014EU48XXX, or if they have done some mistake when writing your email.
Can you please give some feedback, because you are currant at the moment, when you get your 2NL. So everyone that have not been notified will know it's OK.

thanks a lot to you for this clearance and i will notify you once i will get it...but i would like also to know as i m current to may month when do you expect that i will get that 2NL?

It should be around 20th of March, but some got them after 27th of the month.
There is a website that you can check your status. Just put your CN without zeros. It wont be available for you before you gat your 2NL I think, but there is no harm to try it every 2nd or 3rd day

Well with my high CN there is little hope, but until there is any, i wont give it up. So please let us know.

hey guys!!! thank God. i got my 2NL right now and my interview appointment is on 1st may. thanks everyone for helping me. the glory be to God.

That is good news!!!! there are pretty standard questions asked at the interview, like why you want to go there?, are you married or single? have you ever been convicted?
It is pretty simple. There were a lot of people that have put there experience in this forum, But i don't know how universal it is for every region ore country. Check forums from the country that you intend to get the interview in and you may fined some useful tips.
Whatever you do be honest. They will refuse you visa if they see that you lie about something.
