Hello everyone
Please I need your help as soon as possible , I live in USA on h4 visa and I am a doctor but not working now . Last week on oct 15th ,me and my husband discovered that I won in the dv lottery!!!!
Now we don't know what to do ,my case number would be current most probably on January, so should we file I 484 on January
Is there anything to do till January and whom should we contact...please what are the further steps

• • You need to fill out DSP-122 and send it off to KCC (with a copy of the bar code section of your selection letter if you haven't done so already.
    
  • Make the DV payment ($330 x no of persons covered by your selection). Here's the link you'll need for that:

  • Fill out form I-693 for medical exam. You may want to wait till December before doing your medical exam (if you're current in January, or you may decide to go ahead and do it now. You need to find designated civil surgeons in your area for that purpose, the following link provides more information with regards to the medical exam and finding a civil surgeon in your area:

  • Begin to fill out I-485, hold on to it till your CN is current before mailing it to Chicago. Use the waiting period to gather all the supporting documents you'll need to send out with the form
  • You may want to also fill out I-765 - Employment Authorization and submit it with the I-485. Although it's not absolutely necessary to do so, it's something I suggest as its approval enables a Selectee whose I-485 is stuck under administrative processing to start work right away.

First step is ........ enter ! (from October to November each year)
Second step is wait until May 1 the following year and check to find out There may be additional draws during the year also.

The rest is pure luck. If you get selected, just make sure you pass all the prerequisites before you continue to interview

pls i want to know how to become a winner what do i do

first thing you need to do is to apply, application begins every first week of october then extends to the following month november(30 days application period). after u r done with your application , u have to wait till the following year may 1st to check if you have won. then we move from there.
