DV lottery: Entering the US with a tourist visa after submitting DS-260

A consultant told me that you cannot enter the US with a current tourist visa once you have submitted a DS-260 for the DV lottery. I could not find any information about that online. Is what they said true?
 
No, it’s not true. I’ve personally done it. (I actually also had a family based petition in progress at the time.)
Obviously, bring proof that it will only be a temporary trip for if CBP questions you.
