Dv lottery cancelled, who cares?

Why are people so concerned about what happens with the law suits and the "chances" of winning the lottery and all this crap overall.

Does it really have a major effect on your lives that you must know and find every inch and scale of detail of everything concerning or linked to the DV lottery to make yourselves satisfied. Is living in your own country that much of hell that you must complain about the DV lottery and what has happened, the same goes for you cancelled selectees also.

This topic really has no point looking over it, but dayum you guys need to chill with these useless lawsuit crap discussions.
 
I think it's more fun than discussing AOS, medicals, priority dates, POEs, yet-another-great-interview-experiences etc.
 
Jeez, you're so ignorant, you moved to Canada and now brag about it like - look at me, I'm in a rich country now so I don't care. For others lottery is the only way for something better, you can't know what conditions they live in and what some constantly have to go through. It doesn't have to be "hell" necessarily, it could be the little things that annoy the hell out of you over time. And you think it's that easy to get out if you were born in crap country? Yes chances are small, but havin a little chance is better than having none. I guess people like you will never understand. I bet if you were somewhere in Africa starving, you wouldn't be posting this now.

However some indeed take it too far, look at some of the 22k winners, I doubt they even need it that much, and all these skilled specialists and students with masters degrees, there are plenty of other opportunities for them, they just want the citizenship the easy way. We all do you'd say, but, I still think if you're a bright pro, there are other ways for you, leave the lottery for those who really need it. imho.

Let's suppose the average age of those ceo's is 50 y.o. Do you think they have ever dreamed (say 30 years ago) of becoming what they are today?? The answer is absolutely YES. So let people think and dream... because no one really knows what you can achieve, except you (if you're a BIG dreamer...)

mandingo dude ...american immigration to the canada has increased 10 fold in the last 5 years ..US citizen moving to Canada today make the biggest "ethnic" group moving to canada ...everybody else is distant second

You're wrong, Praha. Chinese and South Asians are the biggest ethnic groups. There's a number of Americans moving to Canada too, as well as there's a lot of Canadians moving to the US.
