Somehow, is that mean most of the year the 50K green card
hasn't filled up in full?

this year 2008 CN evolution is so good

with our so glorious GOD all winners are lucky to get interview this year.

KCC can grow to 53000 from 55k visa for DV and this year it's a question of time

at 30 september we will see GAME OVER but after "CURRENT" for all countries where visa limit to 7% of 50k isn't passed

in GOD we trust, FIRST LAST and sole decision-maker

a) what is the meaning of the numbers on yellow rows on the BY CONT sheet?
b) what is the meaning of the gray columns on the DETAILS BY CONT sheet?

Thank you to all. You have been doing a great job of helping people with the DV process. I found this forum to be very informative.

My questions:

1/ I'm from Ethiopia, what is the chance of becomming current with this number?

1/What should I do after sending back the first letter and before receiving the second letter?
2/ Can I prepare documets like (Police certificate . . .) now or should I wait till I get the second letetr? What about Medical?
3/ Who's gonna advise me of the interview date? Is it KCC or Local Embassy?

Processing Statistics Update - July 2008

This year's processing is going much faster than for previous years. S America is going to be current in July 2008. Hopefully all other territories will be current in August 2008.

It seems that the numbering system has changed for asia, because during the previous years they used to say that 14k(Asia) is a very high number abd that there is a little chance that the number will get a interview and usually asian numbers used to be less then 20k. but this year all asian numbers, well most are 15k< and i have seen CN 2009AS00042XXX. Can anyone shed some more light in this regard.
 
I think i am in so much trouble, can anyone of you help me please. I am 18 years old, just finished high school and i am from Nepal. CN 200900028XXX.
I submitted forms DS 230 and DS 122.
I am going to apply for a student visa next year and i am already on the DOS records showing immigrant intent. The trouble is my case no is so high, i dont dont think i have a chance of getting a green card.
And then maybe ill never even get a student visa.
I dont know what to do.
Should i call the KCC and ask them to withdraw my forms(is that possible???)
And is it like i am forver banned from entering the USA.
if my student visa for my bachelors gets rejected can i get a visa for my masters.
brothers, please help me..
