DV 2014 form Submission deadline

Dear all,

I have recently found out that I have been selected for DV 2014AS00007XXX and I am just wondering when is the deadline to submit the documents and how long is the processing time? I am ideally looking to move next year if I am selected due to some commitments.

Second Question - I got married in last June 2012 but when I submitted DV form (after the wedding), I didn't include my spouse's name (I know, silly me!!!). Is it possible to include my spouse name now with the application letter?

I dont think it is advisable to include your spouse when sending your form to kcc cos you did not include her when you submitted your entry last year as you were married at that time.

My advise to you is that you should send your own alone at first,after a successful interview ,you can come back after 2 or three years time,then you can come back and pick her after necessary arrangement has been made.



I am not a lawyer,just my opinion.

BIG, HUGE, MAJOR mistake on your part for not including your wife on your eDV application. The game is over at this stage, not unless you want to continue processing as 'single' which is highly not advisable as you will most likely be found out at the end of the day. Even if you succeed in getting the GC now, if you try to bring her to the US later on, and it's discovered you fradulently obtained your GC, you will loose the GC and face a life time ban from the US

Unfortunately for OP this post is spot on. The instructions are very, very clear on this point.
