DV 2014 - Confirmation Number lost

Hey guys,

a friend of mine was also selected for DV 2104 and will further be processed with the interview in December. Unfortunately she lost her confirmation no so she's not able to check her status on ESC. Is ther any possibility to recover the confirmation number?

The ESC site has a forgot confirmation number functionality

Not much, the ability to retrieve the forgotten number only came in last year I believe, so they might be "trying it out"...

I've never used it but according to the website there are some questions they ask to verify that you are the entrant. So I presume the reason they don't just use date of birth and name - apart from the unlikely possibility two winners will share these - is to prevent someone unscrupulous getting hold of the interview details.
